Why you're not seeing results after your workouts, feeling sore and tired! 6 easy steps fix it.

Have you been absolutely killing your workouts but not quite seeing the results that you want? Have you been feeling super tired and dragged down *yawn* and or sore??? One thing that is crucial to make sure that your workouts are successful is rest.
Yes my friend rest & recovery.

As you know, working out is the process of breaking our muscles down, but rest and recovery play the vital role of building our muscles back up.
Which is essentially the goal that we had in mind in the first place. Building muscle.♥️
Here’s some actionable tips to maximize your recovery.
1. Make sure you’re getting at least six hours of sleep each night. I personally take natural de-stress plus sleep aid vitamins, use the bedtime app on my Apple iPhone that alerts me an hour before I want plan to go to bed so that I can start winding down, and purposefully set it to wake me up in 6 to 8 hours.
2. Having a nighttime routine and /or sitting in bed with dim lights can help your mind and body get ready to wind down.
3. Make sure that when you’re doing your home work outs during the quarantine that you give yourself 1 to 2 rest days a week.
4. Make sure that you’re stretching and or foam rolling after every workout and allowing your muscles to cool down properly.
5.Try to make sure you’re getting adequate protein intake after each workout to assist your body and building your muscles back up. This can be in the form of BCAAs, your favorite protein shake(s), a collagen supplement, and or eating a nutrient dense meal.
6. If you have an Apple Watch or other smartwatch there are some apps that will also help you track your sleeping patterns.
Be sure to consult your doctor before adding any supplements to your dietary regimen.
