This time it's different...

Probably the same as you, I've been on a million fitness journey's a million a one times...

If you have been following me you know that I've hired a one on one coach for my fitness coach...

I have had a coach before BUT in an online group setting...

So this time it truly is different...

I can say that even being an online women's health coach myself that I definitely don't know it all...

Honestly no coach should ever say that they do...

As imperfect humans we should all be in a continuous growth mindset...

But I can tell you that I have truly had to humble myself this time around...

I want to be strong like yesterday...

I'm always reminding others that your body isn't freakin Amazon Prime. It doesn't show up in just two days...

And yet having patience with my body and my mental learning curves has not been easy...

But I did eventually take a deep breath, take a step back, and humble myself...

This journey for me isn't about weight loss as I do stand firm in my beliefs that curvy bodies are beautiful too and that the fitness space should not be filled with one body type...

But I really have been wanting to gain strength, squat, deadlift, chest press more weight...

I find beauty in strong women... #bigflex

Strength however, doesn't come over night just like weight-loss doesn't...

So I am glad that even though this has been a learning curve for things I've never done before, and pushing me to new limits, I realize that that is the only way to truly go...

I had to let go of the toxic negative self talk. Cuz all I could think about is, 'by now you should be able to lift more than this. You should be stronger than this...'

But if that was truly the case then I wouldn't have a coach right?

I say all this to say that its all about trusting the process...

Doing all the things your mentor says, and if you don't have one, go find one.

They got to where they are for a reason. And having a coach can help you get to wear you want to be faster.

They make sure you are pushed to new limits that you didn't know you had in you.

Celebrate the wins with you. Give you an environment to thrive in.

This past two weeks I am down 2 lbs, & 2 inches in the waist, and have conquered my sweet tooth of bingeing on donuts, forgiven myself for the toxic mindset, set a morning routine filled with gratitude, affirmations, prayer, God's Word, stretching, and so much more...

I encourage you to always be in a continuous growth mindset...

And reach out for help when you are feeling stuck! You got this! Happy Motivational Monday!
